​​​​​​​MIPIM is an annual four-day real estate exhibition, conference and networking event gathering 26,800 international property professionals in Cannes. As part of the 2019 event, Arup hosted a series of discussions around population growth, urbanisation, globalisation, climate change, resource scarcity and digital transformation as well as other city-wide challenges facing the built environment. 
We built on the theme of our 2018 MIPIM identity, using #shapingcities on social media and across all materials to continue the conversation from the previous year. By keeping the vibrant yellow for the branding in all the materials we produced we were able to stand out from our competitors. Accompanying the yellow we created three unique patterns to elevate our diverse range of branding materials such as social media, web, invitations, announcements, table cards and posters.
Arup at MIPIM was widely covered by our 21 delegates and the UKIMEA and Arup Group’s social channels. In 2019, we had 1152 unique page views in the run up to MIPIM (from 12-Dec to MIPIM itself) this was more than double the visitors in 2018 with 35% guests/organisations that attended our events were already following @ArupUKIMEA on Twitter.
